The new version of the laptop, along with the keyboard called Magic Keyboard, also features an optional 10th Gen Intel processor, plus an increase in storage space, available at a starting price of $ 1,299.

Apple released the MacBook computer in 2015 with a new keyboard mechanism called the Butterfly Keyboard, but that mechanism did not work as required and faced much criticism, and then the company upgraded its computers to adopt the Magic Keyboard that uses the “scissor” mechanism. Common in the industry, it announced a 16-inch version of the MacBook Pro computer last November, then an updated version of the MacBook Air last March.

On the new MacBook Pro computer, Apple maintained Thunderbolt 3, USB-C ports, and a headphone jack. The company has also kept the touch bar and Touch ID fingerprint sensor inside the power button.

The computer supports updating the RAM size to 32GB and the internal storage capacity to 4TB. Apple says: The tenth generation of Intel processors supports work at a frequency of up to 4.1 GHz, and the graphics card built into the Intel Iris processor supports its Desktop Display Pro XDR with 6K precision.

The base model comes from the $ 1,299 computer with 256GB of storage, but without the 10th generation of Intel processors and 8GB of RAM, you can upgrade to 16GB for an additional $ 100.

Notably, the computer is available to order starting today on the Apple website, and will hit select Apple stores and authorized stores later this week. The company said: Customers working in the education field will receive a $ 100 discount off the base model price.
