Series and movie posters have always been a crisis for some actors. Showing or presenting an artist’s image at the expense of a colleague caused a problem among the actors, which can also amount to enmity. Some production companies even removed the posters, and then re-ran another ad that satisfied all the participating artists. The last fight for the posters was due to the poster of the series “Prestige 4” (the Kuttab workshop, directed by Samer Al-Barqawi, and production of “Sabah Brothers”) that brings together a lot of Syrian and Lebanese stars. Sadiq Al-Sabah finally announced preparations to show the series in early November on various channels, including MBC and MTV. The news would have passed normally had it not been for the poster made by Tim Hassan, Dima Kandalaft and Adel Karam, while the image of the Syrian star Mona Wassef had not had priority. The veteran artist’s presence was restricted to fourth place among the photographs. Something turned into a conversation on the social media pages about the reasons for this move, especially since Wassef’s presence was a great support for the success of the series after playing the role of Umm Jabal (Tim Hassan), a strong and powerful woman. The comments began to attack the promoters of the poster, who prioritized the stars who are still in the middle of their artistic career, while Wassef is one of the biggest stars in the Arab world. On the other hand, the comments made it clear that the role of Wassef Thabet in the fourth season of the project, but the priority will be in favor of Adel, Tim and Dima, since the trio will fight in combats and mafia battles.
After the harvest, it was time to respond.
