The chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Director of the Saida Government Hospital, Dr. Ahmed Al-Samadi, announced that the number of coronavirus infections is increasing and highlighted prevention.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Director General of Saida Government Hospital, Dr. Ahmed Al-Samadi, revealed that “the hospital is seeing an increase in the number of Corona cases it receives.”
He said: “In the last two weeks we have noticed an increase in the rate of admission of Corona patients to the emergency department, which forced us to open the second layer that was destined for Corona cases, so that the who need to be admitted to the hospital, and those whose condition was moderate are followed at home. Between 30 and 35 cases were admitted to the hospital between a care room and regular rooms, highlighting that the number in the previous period was an average of 20 patients, and this indicates that the number of injuries is increasing. Corona is more frequent than the first strain. “
He announced that “the hospital opened a new section for newborns with a crown, and there are currently three cases.” He noted that Corona patients underwent two surgeries this week, one of which suffered a fractured thigh and the other an appendix.
He noted that “the number of CRP tests in the hospital increased to the equivalent of 100 exams per day, and we will soon receive a machine from the Ministry of Health that will allow us to increase the number.”
