Rick Bright is expected to sound the alarm about inadequate measures taken to combat the spread of the Corona virus emerging in the United States, when he testifies before a committee in Congress on Thursday.
“Our chances are shrinking,” Bright said during the hearing, according to her previous testimony, which was released by Congress.

US officials had “rejected” Bright’s shock warnings earlier this year about the severe shortage of essential medical supplies such as masks, test supplies, medications and a lack of funds, he said.
Bright was removed last month from his position as head of the Advanced Bio-Medicine Research and Development Authority (PARDA), the agency tasked with developing an emerging coronavirus vaccine, and was transferred to a lesser position at the Institutes. National Health.

Bright will tell the panel that he believes it is “painfully clear” that the United States government was not well prepared.
“We did not notice early warning signs … and we neglected the important pages of our guide to address the epidemics,” he added.
