Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed his country’s enthusiasm and confidence in the ability of the Lebanese state to get out of the situation it is suffering by defending the national interest to all Lebanese leaders.

A spokesman for the Egyptian presidency said that during the meeting, which was attended by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Abbas Kamel, Chief of General Intelligence, Al-Sisi highlighted Egypt’s firm stance towards strengthening ties with close cooperation with Lebanon.

He also highlighted Egypt’s willingness to provide all aspects of support and assistance to overcome the crises facing Lebanon, especially the repercussions left by the explosion of the Beirut port and the Corona virus pandemic.

For his part, Hariri affirmed his country’s pride in the close historical relations between Egypt and Lebanon, which are based on solidarity and brotherhood, and expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s effort to support Lebanon in all fields, especially by providing all forms of help and assistance. following the bombing of the port.
