On the call for the resignation of President Aoun, he added: “I said that I am not with the call of the president to resign. The removal of the president of the republic needs a constitutional mechanism based on the great national treason.”
He explained the difference between an international conference and internationalization, rejecting “any external interference and any call for internationalization.”
He explained that “what he proposed is an invitation to an international conference in which disputed points are raised, as happened at the Taif conference,” considering that “the salvation of Lebanon from inevitable death.”
