Akkar … Procedures coinciding with the start of the school year

The Joint Crisis Cell of the Sahl Akkar region held a meeting in the social hall of the city of Heisa, which was attended by the president of the Union of Sahel Municipalities, Muhammad Hussein, member of the executive body of the Islamic Council Alawita Ahmed Al-Hadham, Mayor of Tilabira Municipality Abd al-Hamid Saqr, Mayor of Talabas al-Saleh-Sharqr Municipality, Lawyer Yofsen al-Saleh Al-Hadham, Al-Mukhtar Abdullah Darwish and the members: Ali Shamaa, Muhammad Al- Hajjal, Muhammad Al-Hadham, Ali Hassan Hamed, Salih Hassan.

According to a statement from the meeting, the cell discussed the health situation in the towns and villages represented in it, expressing its “concern over the registration of a series of positive cases in some towns, with emphasis on continuing to take preventive health measures.” . She also reviewed the work of the Fund Management Committee, along with the actions. Keep up to date with the start of the school year in the face of difficult sanitary and economic conditions, and deliberate on organizational matters that contribute to the proper development of their work.

The cell decided at the end of its next meeting:

Continue to monitor the prevention and protection measures against the Coronavirus, through the distribution of masks and awareness brochures to citizens and commercial establishments and within the localities represented in them.

Thanks to Global Vision for providing 1,000 masks to the Crisis Cell, along with awareness brochures.

Set up a mini-cell of the towns, to coordinate with the administrations of official and private educational institutions to maintain the rhythm of the beginning of the school year, and work to ensure adequate health measures, especially in means of transportation for students and within of the institutions.

View and approve the cell fund account statement and approve the disbursement of financial assistance due to illness.

The call of the appointed president to form the government is to do justice to the Alawite Islamic community and not to exclude its representation from the expected governmental makeup, regardless of its shape and size.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to follow up and stay abreast of the latest health and economic developments.
