The counting process is still ongoing in the major states and some expected it to take longer due to the large number of voters for this election.

With the escalation of calls for the campaign of the president of the United States, Donald Trump to count the votes in Wisconsin and the filing of lawsuits to stop the census in Michigan and Pennsylvania, and lawsuits in Georgia to separate the late ballots and secure them so they cannot be counted, there are many questions about the rules for counting votes in critical states.

In the United States, the presidential candidate needs to obtain 270 of the 538 votes in the electoral college in order to win the elections.

On Thursday, the Trump campaign lost two court decisions in the states of Georgia and Michigan as it pledged to file a new lawsuit to challenge what it called voting irregularities in Nevada.
