“We wanted in this round to deny Netanyahu’s accusations, and this facility is a natural industrial facility that has been around for decades,” said Hezbollah media relations official Muhammad Afif.
And he stressed that “all accusations made by the enemy are false accusations and part of psychological warfare,” noting that the facility is not owned by Hezbollah.
Afif noted that if the party had missile reserves, it would not have called for a media tour to confirm that it is a civilian facility, considering that Netanyahu wanted to use his presence at the United Nations to impeach the party.
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah denied Netanyahu’s words, saying: “We do not place missiles in the port of Beirut or near a gas station, and we know very well where to place our missiles.”
