After being subjected to electronic hacking two days ago, the Al-Qard Al-Hassan Association announced that it had been exposed for some time to a programmed “crazy” campaign that began in the media and politically after the economic decline and its impact negative on the banks of Lebanon, and after the trust that the Foundation gained from its public as a result of its credibility in preserving the money of shareholders and subscribers. And after the qualitative achievements in the services it sought to provide to these honorable people, such as the ATM and the mobile application. This campaign recently culminated in a cyber breach of the information network.

The association explained: “The breach is from the external information network, and it is partial and limited, and did not affect the main closed and secure network, as it did not affect many real accounts of the organization.”
He added: “Most of the names posted on the site suspected of dealing with the institution do not have accounts with the institution, but rather shady political and security goals and objectives are involved, whether for residents of Lebanon or expatriates. Most of the names mentioned are for borrower underwriters and not depositary shareholders, and are among those who benefited from past Foundation loans.
The statement continued: “Most of the financial figures listed as the association’s financial statements are incorrect, and the institution generally announces its numbers and achievements transparently in the media. The Good Loan Foundation Association is solely concerned with providing good, interest-free loans to loan applicants in order to meet their diverse needs for housing, education, medicine, and others. The association clarified to the public opinion that it is one of the social societies through which Hezbollah works to support and help all Lebanese without any discrimination, since its loans reach all residents of Lebanese territory, including Lebanese and others from all sects and regions.
The Foundation assured all its subscribers, guarantors and borrowers that it continues its work despite all the attacks it was subjected to, either by the Israeli enemy during the July 2006 war, or by including it on the US sanctions list. or cyber and media attacks, and it is still open for everyone to benefit from its loan services.
