The President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, affirmed his support for the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron regarding the Lebanese crisis, highlighting the interest shown by the French President towards Lebanon and the Lebanese.
President Aoun’s words came during his reception this morning at the Baabda Palace, of the French ambassador to Lebanon, Bruno Fuchsia, on a farewell visit on the occasion of the end of his three-year diplomatic work in Lebanon.
President Aoun thanked Ambassador Foche for his efforts to strengthen relations between Lebanon and France in all fields, wishing him success in his new diplomatic mission. In recognition of this, he was awarded the National Order of the Cedar at the rank of Senior Officer.
During the meeting with the French ambassador, President Aoun affirmed his support for “the initiative launched by French President Emmanuel Macron on the Lebanese crisis”, highlighting in particular the interest he is showing towards Lebanon and the Lebanese.
