Beirut – “Al-Quds Al-Arabi”: Photographs and a video clip of a paratrooper who landed on Adloun beach in the Zahrani area of southern Lebanon were circulated, and this paratrooper was found to be Turkish, according to a card identification with your photo and name. And immediately a Lebanese army patrol arrived and took him to the intelligence center in Zahrani. And I began to question him to find out the circumstances of his arrival in that area.
According to information from “Al-Quds Al-Arabi” from sources in the Turkish embassy, this person had come alone to Lebanon to camp in the Saida region, and used his parachute to fly from one of the hills in the Saida region. and the winds lost control of this umbrella, so it reached the Adloun beach towards a nearby area. From UNIFIL operations, and an Army Intelligence patrol transferred him to one of their military barracks in the area.
According to the information, the Turkish embassy informed the Turkish Foreign Ministry about the matter, contacted army intelligence and clarified whether it needed an interpreter with the Turkish citizen. Turkish sources confirmed their confidence in the Lebanese authorities and the investigations and awaited their results, expressing their willingness to provide all assistance.
Several hobbyists practice this hobby in Lebanon from the Harissa hill in the Kesrouan district, and often land on the beach in the Jounieh area after flying over Jounieh Bay, considered one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean region.
