On the other hand, the Lebanese Army Command denied, on Friday, what was reported by a newspaper and some websites about the arrival of a US military plane at Rayak airport in Central Bekaa to transport US journalist Austin Tice, who is in detention. in Syria since 2012. The army command said in a statement: Clarify that the US military plane was on a routine mission with a US team that was coming to train some military units. He finished his mission and left without notifying the journalist Tice, contrary to what was reported ”.
