President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that a strong Turkey is ready for all forms of equitable distribution of wealth in the eastern Mediterranean.
He did so in his speech on Saturday, during his participation in the inauguration of the “Professor Suleiman Yalçın Medical City” in Istanbul.
Erdogan added: “We have always confirmed Turkey’s readiness for all forms of sharing (the wealth of the eastern Mediterranean), as long as it is fair.”
And Abizaid: “They will realize that Turkey has the political, economic and military power to destroy the unjust maps and documents that are imposed on it.”
He stressed that Turkey and its people are prepared for any scenario (in the eastern Mediterranean) and its consequences.
Erdogan indicated that his country is increasingly aware of the importance of the advances it has made in production, trade, technology, exports, defense industries and public services, after each attack it receives or the crisis facing.
He explained that the problem in the eastern Mediterranean is that some countries do not recognize Turkey’s rights and see themselves as superior to them.
He added: “Either they understand the language of politics and diplomacy, or the bitter experiences they will have on the ground.”
Erdogan emphasized that there is no force that can stand up to a people who see struggle and martyrdom as the highest they can reach.
