A witness told AFP on the day of the accident, August 21, that Atwi “ was in the Cola area of Beirut while finishing the papers to buy a public license plate (taxi), and while talking to someone, he fell to the ground. , unconscious. Atwi was born on October 1, 1987 in the village of Harouf (Nabatiyeh district) in southern Lebanon.
