The statement emphasized: “It is important that the media office indicates that the security forces, as well as the governors, qaimqamas, municipalities and mayors, are fully complying with their duties to stop the pandemic through the data and information available in their hands, which are often incomplete or at the wrong time to reach them. “

He added: “With regard to the call for a complete closure again, and despite the need to take stricter measures to curb the accelerated spread of the epidemic, the Media Office confirms that such a decision belongs to the Monitoring Committee for Preventive Measures and Procedures. for the New Coronavirus, noting that the Lebanese community is not a “game” in hand that is subjected to a week to close and another to reopen.

The statement concluded: “We wish the ministry in question to fulfill its duties, which had it complied and the recommendations of the Ministry of the Interior since the outbreak of the epidemic in Lebanon would have provided the distribution of responsibilities, right and left.”
