He added: “I would like to draw the attention of the head of the Parliamentary Health Commission, Representative Assem Araji, who calls with each closure for the supermarket to be included in the decision and proposes to adopt delivery as an alternative means of providing services. that all the countries of the world that have closed completely, most recently in Europe and Great Britain two days ago kept all the shops open. To satisfy the daily needs of the citizens and ensure the feeding of millions of them, since it is the only way , knowing that the delivery service is very advanced and has been used in these countries for a long time. It is also necessary to highlight that the delivery service in large and equipped supermarkets does not exceed 3% of total sales and is not these facilities, and restricting consumables to delivery service during the shutdown period will lead to a food disaster. “

Ezz El-Din added: “We hope you will focus on medical matters and how to limit the increase in numbers resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus by developing an effective strategy and increasing beds in public and private hospitals. This procedure should have been coordinated 10 months ago so that the closure achieves the desired results and is withdrawn. The issue of ensuring the food security of those responsible for this in the sector that has managed to manage successive economic crises, the Crown crisis and others since its inception and it continues to be based on its objective to ensure all the needs of Lebanese society and its concern for the safety of citizens and employees by following all preventive means.
