The use of a mask has become necessary to prevent infection with the emerging corona virus, especially in public and closed places.

In an unprecedented recommendation, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advised wearing masks indoors to prevent the corona virus.

The latest recommendation comes with a resurgence of coronavirus cases in the United States and warnings of a “deadly winter.”

The “CDC” said that Americans should wear masks inside other people’s houses to prevent the virus, according to a report by the US agency “Bloomberg”.

“The consistent and correct use of face masks is a strategic matter for public health in order to reduce the rate of respiratory infection (Covid-19),” the CDC added in its latest recommendation.

The report said that wearing masks and maintaining social distancing is the most effective way to reduce Corona virus infections, along with the expected vaccinations.

Although the anti-Corona vaccines are close to being approved, experts suggest that the number of deaths related to “Covid-19” will reach 4 thousand cases per day in two weeks.

Current figures for the virus in the United States paint a bleak picture of the health situation with the onset of winter, as the country recorded, on Thursday, only 2,879 deaths caused by the Corona virus.

On Friday, the United States recorded a record number of new infections with the Corona virus in 24 hours, reaching 225,201 new infections, according to a statistic from Johns Hopkins University.

The university said the number of new deaths from the virus in the country during the same time period reached 2,500.
