The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division announced that “on 11/20/2020, the Zahle Company of Confidential Operations in the Regional Gendarmerie unit had information on two stolen Kia Cerato cars that were heading from Beirut to Bekaa.

On the same date, a patrol of the Zahle emergency detachment suspected two cars of the aforementioned type, for which the patrolmen pursued them and warned their drivers asking them to stop, and due to their non-compliance the road in front of them was blocked in the town of Ferzol and the tires of both cars were shot, causing the arrest of one of them, while the other managed to stop. Who continued on his way in the car that was driving him, to return and leave him after passing the patrol at a certain distance, and fled to an unknown destination. As for what was arrested, it is called:
METER. H. (Born 1996, Palestinian).

And when he was questioned by the Muallaqa police station, he reported that they were transporting the stolen cars from Beirut, and that they were heading to Hermel to deliver them to someone, and then out of the Lebanese territories.

The management confirmed that the investigation is underway under the supervision of the competent Judicial Power and that work continues to arrest the rest of those involved.
