A Lebanese delegation led by the Minister of Social Affairs and Tourism, Ramzi Al-Musharrafiya, headed to Damascus this morning, Saturday morning, for a two-day visit.

A statement released by the minister’s media office said the delegation will meet with Syrian foreign ministers and expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, the interior, Major General Muhammad Khaled Al-Rahmoun, the local administration and the environment, Hussein Makhlouf. and Social and Labor Affairs Salwa Al-Abdullah and Tourism Muhammad Rami Martini.

The investigation focuses, according to the statement, “on the file of the displaced Syrians and the return plan drawn up by the Ministry of Affairs and approved by the Lebanese government last July.”

It should be noted that the number of displaced Syrians in Lebanon is approximately one million 500 thousand displaced persons, and Lebanon demands the return of these displaced persons to their country in a safe and dignified manner.
