What is noteworthy is that the list includes four women, which is equivalent to half the number of members of the administrative committee, with the exception of the president, to an extent that stakeholders want to award a balanced female quota, which is the first step of this type in all Lebanese federations in terms of the percentage of female faces, which is almost half. The list also includes former champions and a former champion in the game to provide technical momentum and efficient administrative elements that triumphed during the tenure of Faisal, who has presided over the federation since November 2016.
The following are the names of the members of the list: Oliver Faysal, Hassan Daouk, Serge Zwain, Raymond Kattoura, Desiree Khalifa, Nabil Qebaiter, Mirna Khoury, Lynn Bashour, and Nahia Abu Khalil.
The list includes four members of the current administrative committee and they are alongside Faisal, Khalifa, Qubeiter and Khoury. The list will be trusted by the Federation General Assembly, especially in light of the great successes that Faisal’s mandate has witnessed at the administrative levels, in addition to the mechanization of work in the Federation office and committee. technical. Since their election four years ago, the current administrative committee has also attached great importance to the national teams of all age groups, especially the Davis Cup, for which the men’s and women’s national teams have achieved distinguished results at the Arab level. , continental and international.
In a calm reading of the members of the list, it can be said that it includes the president of the federation, Oliver Faisal, who managed in his presidential duties during his term to bring the game with the members of the Union to a place where there had not been arrived earlier. Faisal was carefully selected for their list, which included a combination of technical and managerial expertise. It also includes former champions Raymond Kattora, Serge Zwain, former player Hassan Daouk and former champion Nahia Abu Khalil, as well as Lynn Bashour, who accompanies the game throughout the year through her daughter who participates in tournaments and se may qualify as a representative of the families of the players on the roster. Nine candidates who met the legal requirements submitted their candidacies. The candidates are: Rabih Bassam Al-Ayoubi, Jarman Elias Zogheib, Jean Gerges Al-Zailaa, Wael Talib Nassar, Pierre Edmond Jalakh, George Bou Doumit, Hisham Fouad Al-Hajj, Sassine George Rouhana and Elias George Assi.
Since the Board of Directors is made up of nine members and only nine candidates have come forward, the candidates have won by acclamation.
