Almost eleven months after the Corona virus outbreak in the Chinese city of Wuhan, new research and medical studies have emerged trying to clear the city of being the focus of the virus.

Where new Chinese research claimed that a strain of the Corona virus had spread in eight countries, prior to its appearance in the Chinese city of Wuhan.

The research, prepared by the Shanghai Biological Research Institute, said that a strain of the Corona virus called “SARS-CoV-2” was present on four continents before the virus outbreak in Wuhan.

The research, which was reviewed and summarized by the “SCMP” website, added that the first human-to-human transmission of the virus may have occurred on the Indian subcontinent.

In this study, the researchers adopted a new method that simply calculates the number of mutations in each virus strain.

Strains with more mutations have been around longer, and those with fewer mutations are closer to the original ancestor of Sars-CoV-2.

The investigation concluded that Wuhan, China, may not be the first site for human-to-human transmission of Sars-CoV-2.

Reports from the World Health Organization are reported to confirm that the Corona virus first broke out in November last year, in the Chinese city of Wuhan.

Approximately 61 million cases of Covid-19 have been officially accounted for worldwide since the outbreak of the epidemic and more than 1.4 million deaths.

And the countries that registered the highest number of daily deaths are the United States (1,333), Italy (822) and Brazil (691).
