Study reveals amazing effect of mouthwash: kills crown in 30 seconds

A recent British study revealed that mouthwash can kill the emerging corona virus in just 30 seconds, and this issue may help reduce or prevent the severity of the “Covid 19” disease in the future.

According to the British network “Sky News”, the study that was initially presented, tried to find out if this lotion was capable of reducing the levels of the virus in the saliva of a person sick with “Covid 19”.

This study was carried out at the University of Cardiff in Great Britain, and was based on mouthwashes in which the percentage of “cetylpyridinium” chloride reached 0.07 percent.

The researchers conducted several experiments in the laboratory, simulating the functions of the nasopharynx and throat, in addition to the use of liquid mouthwashes such as “Dental.”

The study says it took information about bleach from the “Venture Life” group that “Dental” produces, but did not get any financial support from the company.

The study intended to clarify this matter and deny obtaining financing from the company, to avoid being accused of advertising the product for health reasons.

In a parallel step, clinical trials will be carried out at the University Hospital of Wales over a period of 12 weeks in order to find out if this lotion is really capable of reducing the viral load in the patient’s saliva.

The results are expected to be finally released in early 2021.

Professor David Thomas, a Cardiff University researcher who oversees clinical trials, said the study has been conducted in the lab so far, but it is a positive step, even if more clinical research is needed.

“We need to know whether this positive effect of mouthwash in laboratory experiments will also be repeated among Covid 19 patients,” said the expert.

And he affirmed that if this efficacy is confirmed, mouthwashes will become common in the treatment of “Covid 19”, such as sterilization, hand washing, the use of masks and taking into account social distancing.
