The president of the French Football League, Vincent Labron, announced that he was “ready” to “face” the company “Media Pro”, owner of the broadcasting rights of local television, after it failed to pay the fees financial due to the transmission of the first and second division matches last October. “I hope they respect their commitment and, at least, show responsibility for the outcome of the crisis we are facing,” Labron said in an interview with “Journal du Dimanche,” published on Sunday.

“When I was running for the presidency of the League, I knew the general context and the risks associated with it. I am prepared to face them. I knew that a similar earthquake could not be ruled out,” added Lapron, the former president of the Marseille club who was elected to the presidency of the League last September. It was expected to negotiate the television rights. “MediaPro was owed 172 million euros for the month of October, as part of a landmark agreement it had signed for four seasons starting this year.
The Chinese-Spanish team expresses its desire to review the terms of the contract this season, and those procedures have begun with the League.
