In response to a question, Qayumjian pointed out that “those who form the government are the parties imposing on the appointed president, their ambitions and wishes, against the constitutional mechanism. The Lebanese forces did not appoint Prime Minister Hariri to form the government, because they were certain in advance that he would be overwhelmed by the conditions of the ruling authority. “It is better to apologize for writing than to form a government that is subject to the will of politicians. A government cloned from its predecessors means more evil and devastation,” Qiyumjian stressed.
