First European government official congratulates Trump on winning

Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janza commented on the preliminary results of the US presidential elections, referring to a “successful and good” result for current US President Donald Trump.

“It is quite clear that the American people have elected Donald Trump and Mike Pence for another four years,” the Slovenian prime minister said in a tweet on his personal social media page, “Twitter.”

“Congratulations to the Republican Party for the strong results at the US level,” added Yanza, a right-wing politician who declared his support for Trump before the election.
