Horrible crime ″ … and the victim is a baby
In a heinous crime that froze the body, a baby died after his parents left him alone for 9 days, starving to death in his bed, until he died and his body decomposed, according to Egyptian police. However, the gruesome crime against the infant was only revealed by the emission of unpleasant odors from inside the house, after his body had decomposed after his death from starvation.
The Prosecutor of the Toukh Center in the Egyptian governorate of Qalyubia decided to detain both the father and the mother of the baby for 4 days pending investigations, after they caused the death of their son Anas for 4 months after they left him in the marital home in the village of Kafr Al Fuqaha.
The mother gave detailed confessions about the incident of leaving her young son until he starved to death, saying: “His father mistreated me and does not appreciate the services I provide to our two children, so I decided to leave the baby to be done take care of him and feel my importance and even discipline him ”.
For his part, the father indicated that there are constant disagreements with his wife and that he spent the night at his workplace for several days in a row, as a result of these disputes, and upon returning home he discovered the death of his son and accused the wife of negligence, leaving her son uncared for and causing his death.
According to Egyptian media, the investigations revealed that there was a disagreement between husband and wife, after which she left the house accompanied by her eldest son, under the pretext of bringing some purchases, but went to her family’s house after a quarrel with her husband, and that the husband also left the child alone at home and went to work. Investigations revealed that the baby starved to death.
