The bloc indicated that “it has discussed a set of bills that it has drawn up and drafted, and most of them have been presented to Parliament and is following the approval process in committees, with the hope that they will reach the public body for their approval. approval, among which is the constitutional reform in terms of setting deadlines for the President of the Republic to carry out binding parliamentary consultations. And the head of government in charge of the formation of the government, as well as the law of transparency, the law of disclosure of accounts and assets for those who are in a public service, the law of bank secrecy and the law of financial governance.

And he focused on his “insistence on conducting a criminal audit on the accounts of the Banque du Liban” as a starting point for the reform and anti-corruption process, and any breach requires exposing the negligent, abstentions and obstructed, and prosecuting those responsible for the suspension and not providing the auditing company with the necessary information. The bloc also intends to quickly advance a bill in this area.
