They posted a picture on social media … and the investigation detachment was looking for them!

In detail, according to a statement from the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces, an image was circulated on social networks that shows people hunting birds, and the law prohibits hunting them.

Through the investigations and investigations carried out by the Bekaa Investigation Detachment in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, the two suspects were identified:

Subsequently, a patrol of the aforementioned detachment went to the town of Saghbine, arrested them for the crime of violation of the hunting law and seized a hunting rifle.

The General Directorate of Security Forces and Bodies highlighted its willingness to receive all documented cases of any violation of the hunting law, photographing them (photo, video …), either by citizens or environmental associations, and sending them to the Public Relations Division through its accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and the “Report” service, on its official website www.isf.gov.lb, in preparation to take the necessary legal measures against offenders.
