Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro revealed that “scientists from his country were able to invent a drug to treat the Corona virus.”
In a speech, Maduro pointed out that “the studies lasted 6 months”, noting that “the experiments showed that it completely eliminates the virus without any toxic effect on healthy particles.”

He added: “In a few days, his country will deliver the results of the work to the World Health Organization, and after its approval, Caracas will begin to seek international alliances to produce large quantities of this treatment.”
The Venezuelan president also pointed out that “the drug that eliminates the Corona virus depends on the DR10 molecule, which is used to treat hepatitis C, the human papilloma virus and Ebola.”

There is global competition between various countries and medical companies to provide a vaccine against the Corona virus, as the main problem is not related to participation, but to winning because the financial risks are enormous. However, beware of publicity, disappointment, and security concerns.
In its latest report on Oct. 2, the World Health Organization identified 42 “candidate vaccines” that have entered human clinical trials around the world (compared to 11 in mid-June).
Ten of these experimental vaccines have also reached the most advanced stage, Phase 3, during which the vaccine’s effectiveness is measured on a large scale among tens of thousands of volunteers spread over several continents.
Among them, the American company “Moderna”, the German-American alliance “Biontech / Pfizer”, several Chinese laboratories, a European project led by the University of “Oxford”, and the “Sputnik-V” vaccine developed by the Russian institute. “Gamalia” with the participation of the Ministry of Defense.
The other experimental vaccines are still in the first stage, which is the product safety evaluation stage, or the second stage, where their effectiveness is explored.
In addition to the trials that have already begun, the World Health Organization has counted 151 candidate vaccine projects, in the preclinical stage of development.
To date, more than 43 million people around the world have been infected by the Coronavirus, of which one million 159 thousand have died.
