The communication added: “They are also obliged to obtain some official documents to complete the sale process, and deceive them that they are aware of a person who is transacting with real estate departments (a broker) and charges money as a fee, and asks them to send sums of money (the value of the broker’s allocation of fees), ranging from 4 to 7 million Lebanese pounds, via money transfer companies, on behalf of people they know or to give to an acquaintance , to secure these documents.

Therefore, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces and Bodies warns honorable citizens not to be carried away by these events to avoid being victims or being the object of similar operations, and requests those who have been victims of these operations to present a complaint to the corresponding Appeals Prosecutor’s Office, as the author has been arrested and deposited by the competent court.
