The former prime minister, Saad Hariri, was appointed in the parliamentary consultations that are binding today in Baabda, to form the next government, with a total of 64 deputies, compared to 54, who did not name anyone.
It should be noted that the interim prime minister, Hassan Diab, had obtained 69 votes in the last consultations.
The votes of the deputies are distributed as follows:
Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri received 64 votes from the votes of deputies: former Prime Minister Najib Mikati, former Prime Minister Tammam Salam, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Elie Ferzli, Future Bloc, National Bloc, Bloc The Progressive Socialist Party, Center Bloc Independent, the National Social Bloc, the Parliamentary Bloc of Armenia, the Development and Liberation Bloc (which includes MP Qasim Hashem) and the independent MPs: Nihad Al-Machnouk, Eddamerjian, Michel Daher, Jihad Al-Samad, Jean Talusian.
54 deputies did not name personalities, and they are: the representatives of the Al-Wafa Resistance Bloc, the Consultative Meeting Bloc (except deputy Qassem Hashem, who will participate with the Development and Liberation Bloc), the powerful Republic Bloc, the Bloc Strong Lebanon and the Jabal Guarantee Block and the independent representatives, Osama Saad, Fouad Makhzoumi, Shamil Roukoz and Jamil Al-Sayed.
