In addition, the vice president of Parliament, Elie Ferzli, announced: “My candidate for prime minister is Hariri, in the hope that he will form a government that will achieve the main objective in the process of reviving the country.”
For his part, Deputy Samir Al-Jisr confirmed after the meeting of the “Future” bloc with the President of the Republic that the bloc appointed Prime Minister Hariri to form the new government, and said: We are with all the good words that help to the resurrection of the country.
As for the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, it did not appoint anyone to form the new government, as it said, “Because we see that national understanding is the mandatory step to protect Lebanon and because the prospects for this understanding should not be closed, that’s why we don’t name anyone. “
Deputy Tony Franjieh, representing the National Bloc, stated that “the allocation and composition must be accelerated and we have appointed Hariri to assume the next government, which we hope will be far from bids and auctions.”
He also announced the “Democratic Rally” of Baabda, “We appoint Prime Minister Hariri to head the government in order to support the French initiative.”
Representative Jean Obeid, on behalf of the “Independent Center” bloc, announced the appointment of Hariri to form the new government. After meeting with the President of the Republic, he said: “We appointed Hariri to form the government, and the most important thing in this period is to achieve unity of the situation to face the difficulties.”
In turn, the “Social Nationalist” bloc appointed Hariri to form the new government. MP Asaad Hardan said on behalf of the bloc: “We demand a government as soon as possible that meets the demands of the people and is concerned about the fate of Lebanon at all levels.”
As for the deputy Al-Walid Sukkariyah, he announced that the “Consultative Meeting” bloc did not appoint anyone to form the new government. After meeting with the President of the Republic, he said: “We refrained from appointing anyone, especially in the presence of a single candidate in whom we see clear errors, who contributed to the achievement of wrong policies, and our position is not personal, and we wish the President-designate success in his mission. “
The bloc of the “powerful republic” did not appoint anyone to form the new government. For his part, Deputy Nihad Machnouk announced Hariri’s nomination, explaining that the disagreement with him is political and the agreement too, and nothing personal. Al-Machnouk hoped that after his meeting with President Aoun during the consultations, the composition would be less complicated than he thinks, and called for a government of specialists. He said: “We are part of the Iranian-American clash, and there is Iranian tutelage over the political decision.”
While the deputy Osama Saad did not appoint anyone to form the government, and from Baabda he said: “Lebanon has no national authority and a government whose files are in the stadiums of the nations of Lebanon is useless.”
Furthermore, MP Shamil Roukoz did not appoint anyone to form the government, saying that “it is necessary to form a government as soon as possible, and Lebanon needs international support quickly to reactivate the economy.
