The House of Representatives, in its session held at 11 this afternoon at the UNESCO Palace, headed by President Nabih Berri, elected two secretaries, three commissioners and members of the commissions in place of the resigned deputies.
Representative Muhammad Al-Hajjar was elected to replace Representative Dima Jamali on the Finance Committee, and MP Alan Aoun replaced resigned MP Michel Moawad, and MP Faisal Al-Sayegh replaced resigned MP Henry Al-Hilu.
On the Administration and Justice Committee, MP Ibrahim Kanaan replaced resigned MP Paula Yacoubian, and MP Ali Khalil replaced resigned MP Nadim Gemayel.
In the Foreign Affairs Committee, Representative Elias Bou Saab replaced the resigned Nehme Ephrem.
In the Education Committee, Representative Hassan Fadlallah replaced the resigned MP Sami Al-Jamil
On the Defense Committee, Representative Elias Bou Saab replaced Sami Gemayel
On the Committee on Displaced Persons, Representative Roger Azar replaced Representative Cesar Abi Khalil, and Representative Hikmat Deeb replaced Representative Farid Al-Bustani.
MP Akram Shiheeb was elected Chairman of the Environment Committee, replacing the resigned MP Marwan Hamadeh, and MP Farid Al Bustani was elected Chairman of the Economic Committee in place of Ephrem.
On the media committee, MP Cesar Abi Khalil replaced Alan Aoun, and Nicola Nahas replaced Paula Yaqoubian and Faisal Al Sayegh in place of Akram Shuhayeb.
Representative Hussein Jishi was elected to the Youth and Sports Committee to replace the resigned member, Nadim Gemayel.
