In an interview on the Al-Jadid channel, Abul-Hassan said that “the President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, cannot postpone the binding parliamentary consultations again, but the problem will move to the composition,” indicating that “the Socialist Party Progresista had a clear position after the October 17 uprising. Abu Al-Hassan revealed that “the president of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, received a call from Hariri”, denying that “there is a French mediation in this regard.” Postponement, and the country cannot tolerate any delay. “
He added: “The French initiative is the last tree of salvation in Lebanon, and it must be taken without cutting down, and whoever obstructs the advance of this initiative will bear the responsibility.”
He continued: “Regardless of who requested the postponement of the consultations, the problem will be transferred to the composition process and the ministerial communiqué, and it seems that there are efforts to form a government at a certain regional moment, unfortunately.”
And Abul-Hassan added: “Jumblatt is working according to the dictates of his national conscience, and it was agreed with Hariri for a rescue government to take the French initiative in its ministerial statement.”
Abu Al-Hassan stated that “there will be no candidate for the Progressive Socialist Party or for a democratic meeting in the government,” calling for “the implementation of the constitution and the holding of parliamentary consultations, and then matters are discussed with the designated president” .
