The Disaster Management Unit of the Union of Municipalities of the District of Tire, and based on the report of the Medical Director, announced the registration of 59 new cases of the new Coronavirus, covid-19, confirmed and confirmed by laboratory, for residents who had contact, including 18 Palestinian citizens, stating that the new infections were distributed as follows:

– 2 in each of: Al-Abbasiya / Jal Al-Bahr, Al-Bazuriya, Maaraka, Badiyas, Srifa, Al-Jebin, Derganon, Ras Al-Ain and two Siddiq, and one injury in each of: Al- Abbasiya, Al-Masaken, Al-Malikiyah, Al-Bass, Al-Qasimia, Al-Nahr and Derganimia

He also announced the registration of a death case, “raising the number of deaths from covid-19 in the district of Tire to 22 since the beginning of the pandemic.”

And he indicated that with the new infections, the number of injured in the district increased to 1,480 injured, they were distributed as follows:

– 220 imported cases (3 deaths)

– 1,260 local cases, including 211 cases of Palestinian citizenship, 33 cases of Syrian citizenship and 4 cases of Iraqi citizenship

– 114 cases of international emergency forces – UNIFIL, (19 local deaths), 915 of them fully recovered, including 546 laboratory recoveries and 369 temporary cures.

He pointed out that “after studying the severity indicator by which the epidemiological situation of the regions is measured in terms of spread and social outbreaks of the virus, today it was decided to close the towns of Al-Ma’souq and Zebkine for a period of 5 days, from tomorrow morning to midnight on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Then assess the situation to make the appropriate decision.

It stated that “the only authority authorized to issue data on reality and health data related to Coronavirus, the number of patients, recovered cases and suspects, according to a report by the Medical Director, and therefore we hope that all parents will not be attracted to any news that is not broadcast by this unit. “

And he explained: “Due to the continuous increase in the number of injured people, according to the reports of the Ministry of Public Health, we recommend that all residents of the Tire district continue to fully comply with the non-mixing and apply all the instructions issued by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the guidelines of the Ministry of Public Health to avoid possible injuries or damages “.
