The corona virus continues to spread in Lebanon, with higher numbers.
The Ministry of Public Health announced, in its daily report, that 1,405 new cases with the emerging virus “Corona” (Covid 19) were registered during the last 24 hours, raising the accumulated number of infections since February 21 to 61,284 cases.
It also recorded 8 deaths, bringing the cumulative number to 517 since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The Rafic Hariri University Hospital announced, in its daily report, the latest news about the emerging coronavirus, which shows in numbers the cases in the isolation and quarantine areas inside, the recovery of 8 patients and the death of one patient.
The report stated:
– The number of examinations performed in the hospital laboratories during the last 24 hours: 396.
– Number of injured patients who are in the hospital for follow-up: 88.
– The number of suspected cases during the last 24 hours: 21.
– The number of patients recovered in the hospital during the last 24 hours: 8.
– Total recoveries of patients from inside the hospital from inception to date: 563.
– Number of cases that were transferred from the intensive care unit to the isolation unit after their condition improved: 2.
The number of critical cases within the hospital: 30.
Deaths: 1.
The Ministry of Public Health announced the completion of PCR tests for flights arriving in Beirut and conducted at the airport on 10/14/2020, in addition to the first batch of tests conducted on 10/15/2020; The results showed 19 positive cases.
