This step was initiated by the head of the Future Movement, Saad Hariri, personally with two meetings held yesterday Monday, with the Lebanese President Michel Aoun and the President of Parliament Nabih Berri, with the aim of reactivating the stagnant French initiative, which Hariri considers as the only and last chance for Lebanon to stop the collapse and rebuild Beirut.
The delegation began its first tour today with a visit to the head of the “Marada Movement” (the main ally of “Hezbollah”), Suleiman Franjieh, at his home in Bensha’i (northern Lebanon), to explain Hariri’s initiative that It arises from the reform document of Qasr Al-Senawbar. The initiative foresees the formation of a government of specialists who do not belong to any party, and in a schedule that does not exceed a few months, with the aim of carrying out reforms that constitute a ministerial declaration for the new government. This will allow Macron, according to his commitment to Lebanese political forces, to mobilize the international community to invest in Lebanon and provide funds for it, which would stop the collapse that Hariri described as “terrible”.

Franjieh affirmed, before the delegation, that his parliamentary bloc will appoint Hariri in the binding parliamentary consultations that Aoun called on Thursday, and stressed that he supports the French initiative as it was issued at the Pine Palace meeting, and also noted that he originally nominated Hariri at that time before the French president.
For her part, the head of the Future Bloc, Bahia Hariri, confirmed that the meeting was frank and clear, during which the issue of the French initiative was emphasized and the extent to which the parliamentary blocs adopted it. She said in a statement: “We will know these positions at every meeting, as long as we honestly convey the results to Prime Minister Hariri.”
In light of the announcement by the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, in an interview on Monday with the local channel Al-Jadid, that he refused to receive the delegation of the Future Bloc, criticizing the politically established custom of “consultations before consultations ”, Bahia Hariri expressed her belief that Jumblatt does not close its door. With anyone’s face. “We did not arrive anticipating consultations, but to ask and discuss the work program for the next stage,” he explained.
Jumblatt said Prime Minister Hariri called himself, and there is no need for us to go to Baabda, where the Lebanese presidency is located, hinting at the possibility of a “cheese sharing agreement” between Hariri and the leader of the Free Patriotic Movement. , MP Gebran Bassil, and the Shiite duo, which means “Hezbollah.” And the “Amal Movement” (led by Berri). He called on everyone to open, consult and understand, not forgetting to urge the presence of acceptable and efficient names. He continued: “There is no independent person. Rather, there is a person who should be in this position or a suitable personality to implement the French role.”
The Marada Movement is considered an important ally of Hezbollah and always faces disputes with the Free Patriotic Movement, especially over ministerial seats and quotas. Today, the delegation concludes its meetings with the head of the “Lebanese Forces” party, Samir Jaha, who previously refused to name Hariri and did not join the main parliamentary blocs in naming Adeeb, but instead appointed Ambassador Nawaf Salam.
According to the sources of Al-Araby Al-Jadeed within the Lebanese Forces, he will not reveal the identity he is calling today, and will confirm his position on the need to form an independent government from its head to its members, and will renew its commitment to support the French initiative.

The delegation will continue its tours tomorrow, to include the “Free Patriotic Movement” and the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc (representing “Hezbollah” in parliament), headed by MP Muhammad Raad.
