In this context, Diab reaffirmed “the implementation of the decision related to the payment of compensation by the Higher Relief Commission for some 10,000 damaged homes, in addition to the compensation paid by various donors, and the need to accelerate the strengthening of ruined buildings and the restoration of the facades of buildings, government buildings and public schools “. He also informs attendees of the immediate removal of the landfills after securing their collection site, and addressing the issue of warehouses in the port that contain burning materials, which number 49.

The meeting also discussed the prison file in the face of the Corona epidemic outbreak, and how to reduce overcrowding, as well as the allocation of hospitals and beds for injured prisoners. A special meeting will be held on this subject later.

They then discussed the issue of waste, the expansion of the Burj Hammoud-Al-Jadida landfill and the cleaning of sewers in Beirut ahead of the winter season.
