At the beginning of their tour of the parliamentary blocs, the delegation of the Future Parliamentary Bloc, which includes Deputies Bahia Hariri, Samir Al-Jisr and Hadi Hobeish, visited at 11:30 before noon in Nash’i, where they were received by the head of the Marda Movement, Suleiman Franjieh.
Bahia Al Hariri, speaking on behalf of the future delegation, described the meeting frankly and clearly, saying: “We will honestly convey what happened during the meeting to Hariri.” In response to a question about the position of the president of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, yesterday replied: “I don’t think Walid Baik will close the door on anyone.
Hariri emphasized that the tour of the Future Movement delegation is not intended to anticipate the consultations, but rather that we ask and discuss the work program for the next stage, which is Macron’s initiative with the reform document.
For his part, the head of the Marada Movement, Suleiman Franjieh, said: “We have confirmed that we will appoint Hariri in any parliamentary consultation and we will support the French initiative as agreed in the Al-Pine Palace.”
Franjieh expected the government formation to go smoothly, considering that turning corners requires everyone’s cooperation. He continued: “I originally nominated Prime Minister Hariri before President Macron at the Pine Palace, and I am still in my post.”
And he added: “We are open and against the democracy of sects, and what is required is a government of competences headed by a suitable figure to implement the French card.”
Later, in his speech through the LBC, Franjieh confirmed that the Future Bloc delegation had not presented any list of minister names, but we are open to discuss any names.
He added: “The horizon is not blocked and I am optimistic.”
Regarding the insistence of some to enter the government, he said: “If we want to stay with the same mentality, we will not get to a place.”
