Battle flow
On the ground, Azerbaijan announced progress on the ground in the Karabakh region and highlighted its refusal to halt the fighting before the withdrawal of Armenian forces.
Azerbaijani Defense Ministry spokesman Anar Iwazov confirmed that his country’s army “has not withdrawn from any area that it liberated from Armenian occupation, and that everything is progressing according to the operation plan,” and stressed that the operation will continue until the release is completely completed.
Iwazov indicated that his country’s army destroyed an Armenian military convoy and destroyed 10 tanks, 6 “D-20” artillery (D-20), a howitzer and 30 military vehicles.
And it indicated that the defeated Armenian forces resorted to bombarding Goran Boy, Tatar and Aghdam provinces, and Iggha Badi and Bardi with missiles, resulting in civilian casualties.

In the city of Shusha, the bombing hit a cathedral with historical symbolism for Armenians, causing some journalists to be injured.
The Azeri army denied having bombed the site, emphasizing that it did not target “historical and cultural buildings and monuments, especially religious ones,” accusing the separatists of “attacking populated areas.”
On the other hand, the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh region, which is not internationally recognized, reported on the renewed fighting between its forces and the Azerbaijani army in the different combat axes, especially in the southern and northern axes, referring to what he considered a decrease in the activity of the Azeri forces.
