On the other hand, the Russian news agency TASS quoted the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, that his country will return to dialogue with Armenia after the end of the “critical” military conflict in Karabakh.
Aliyev added that Turkey has the right to participate in the mediation, after Pashinyan told Time magazine that his country would not agree to a ceasefire unless Turkey stopped participating in the conflict and the “mercenaries” left. retired.
Aliyev had spoken by phone with Putin, where the latter described what was happening in the region as a tragedy and called for a ceasefire as soon as possible.
Iran and France
On the other hand, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned of expanding the war and emphasized that Iran would not allow those it described as terrorists to be near its borders.
Rouhani added that the solution to the crisis is through dialogue and that Tehran is ready to provide the necessary assistance to resolve the dispute.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that Tehran delivered an official protest memorandum to both Azerbaijan and Armenia, objecting to the missile drops in Iranian border areas as a result of the ongoing conflict between the two countries, considering than a violation of Iranian sovereignty.
