Ali Haider-
The enemy’s political, military and intelligence leadership could not “swallow” the thunderous slap it received from Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, so they studied their counter-options to contain the repercussions of the frustration Nasrallah carried out in the Lebanese and Israeli national level.
As a result of the failure of political and media institutions, and the undermining of the credibility of enemy Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the task was entrusted to the occupation army, which took about 70 hours to crystallize and publish a video exposing the background and the compensatory objectives. Yet the army’s move seemed closer to an implicit admission of invalidity than Netanyahu had propagated.
But it also appeared that the army’s attempt failed to correct the picture that took place in the wake of Sayyed Nasrallah’s response, which came less than an hour after Netanyahu announced an alleged Hezbollah missile depot in the Jnah area ( the southern suburb of Beirut), and Hezbollah did not need more than an hour. To implement it. It can be assumed that the army movement came about as a result of pressure from the political leadership and was therefore lackluster and limited in influence.
If the inference is correct, then it is a further indication of Hezbollah’s victory in the battle of conscience, and of the deepening moral, political, and media defeat that the enemy suffered in this round of open and ongoing conflict, which is not it has lost and will not lose any means or opportunity to target the awareness and feelings of the resistance public.
The slap received by the enemy entity with all its political, security and media institutions, was the success of Hezbollah in thwarting the objectives of the propaganda campaign for which the enemy Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recruited and used the United Nations platform, and also in the center of the equation that the latter tried to establish after it appeared to promote false information about the existence of a store. Hezbollah rockets threaten Jnah area residents
The enemy’s insistence on continuing the media battle stems from the fact that what Netanyahu announced was not just a stance on a global occasion that should be exploited, but rather a translation of a broader plan pursued by the enemy entity against Hezbollah. , specifically against its specific military and missile capabilities.
According to the Israeli newspaper “Maariv”, “What Israel is doing, whether for Netanyahu or for the Israeli army, is part of the propaganda campaign that aims to distort the image of Hezbollah and present it as a danger to the lives of civilians in Lebanon because it stores explosive materials underneath. ” Densely populated residential neighborhoods’.
Regarding the background for resorting to this option, and its position on the enemy’s overall strategy to confront Hezbollah, the newspaper added: “This type of action is being carried out by Israel because it realizes that offensive operations can lead to an escalation in the region. “
From here, it is clear that the propaganda campaign carried out by “Israel”, and in concert with local, regional and international forces, is among several avenues that seek to incite the Lebanese people in general, and the multitude of resistance. in particular, against Hezbollah, in the hope that this will contribute to undermining his popular base and exacerbating pressure on him to force him to make concessions consistent with the priorities and interests of the enemy entity.
Based on the above, it is understood that what happened was not the first time that the enemy tried to implement such a scheme. Netanyahu and the United Nations also announced similar matters earlier, and the Israeli military had previously announced alleged maps in the same direction. Based on the same logic and bet, this path will continue in later stages.
All these steps are framed in what is known as the “battle of conscience”, which has become an essential part of “Israel” strategy against its enemies.
According to a study issued by the National Security Research Institute in Tel Aviv, “the army’s strategy, published in 2018, sought to produce a“ capacity to influence conscience ”between its enemies and popular and political forces to influence their positions and options.
To this end, I have developed tools for broad and focused influence. ” The study indicates that the “battle of conscience” occupies a basic space as “an independent effort that accompanies and complements several other efforts”, offensive, defensive and logistical, as stipulated in the army’s strategy. But it is also striking that the clause related to the “battle of conscience” was included in the “chapter on the use of force” (in the strategy of the occupation army) together with the multidimensional maneuver and fire, and also it had its place in relation to the soft capacities at the level of information (war), conscience and legitimacy. And the law.
Regarding the direct objectives of this strategy (the battle of conscience), the study (the National Security Research Institute) determined that its objective is to change the perceptions of Israel’s enemies by targeting selected audiences, be it an audience local or international community, in the hope that this will contribute to changing the attitudes and behavior of the target audience. Against the enemy (Hezbollah) that is being incited. The activities that fall within the framework of this battle vary between totally secret activities and absolutely open ones, and activities between them in which the secret and the open overlap.
However, the “battle of conscience” waged by the enemy entity, and with it all international, regional and local forces against Hezbollah, remains an exceptional peculiarity.
In conventional cases, this type of battle constitutes a catalyst and complement to the military effort, as noted above.
However, in the context of the confrontation with Hezbollah, it rose from the enemy to become a parallel option to the military confrontation.
At this stage, it also became an alternative option, due to the success of the deterrent force that Hezbollah had established in the face of aggressive Israeli options for more than 14 years (since the 2006 war),
By providing an umbrella of protection for Lebanon and the resistance, in order to build and develop its deterrence and defense capabilities.
On the other hand, it seemed that the enemy studied his alternative and contrary options, and concluded by admitting the reality of his narrow options. This led him to adopt a set of alternative options, one of the main avenues of which is the “battle of consciousness” that targets the resistance crowd.
With an overall assessment of the rounds witnessed in this arena, it is clear that Hezbollah has achieved a represented victory by thwarting the enemy’s efforts and the stakes in the resistance of the resistance masses to turn away from it. Lebanon and region.
