These protests came just three days after parliament passed a law to limit the scope of such demonstrations, while most of the protests tonight were small and scattered across the country, despite crowds gathering. That included thousands in Tel Aviv.
The Israeli channel reported on its website that clashes broke out between protesters and police, and they attempted to shut down the city’s streets, injuring protesters, including Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai, while police detained about 15 protesters.
