White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said Saturday that President Donald Trump is “very well” and that doctors are very happy with his vital signs.

“The president is fine, he is moving, not bedridden, asking for documents for his review,” Meadows told reporters.

“The doctors are very happy with his vital signs,” Meadows added. “Today I met with him several times on various matters.”

Earlier, the US President tweeted about his health after he became infected with the emerging coronavirus and was admitted to Walter Reed Military Hospital in Maryland.

Trump praised the hospital’s medical staff, saying, “With your help, I feel good.”

Trump described the medical staff as brilliant and singled out “all the doctors and nurses at the amazing Walter Reed Hospital, as well as other institutions that I have joined.”

Trump said: “Tremendous progress has been made over the past six months in addressing the emerging corona epidemic.”

Trump arrived at the “Walter Reed” National Military Medical Hospital in Maryland today, Saturday, for a few days as a precautionary measure after it was confirmed that he was infected with Corona.

Commenting on the US president’s health, White House physician Sean Connelly said: “Trump doesn’t need respirators.”

In the context, US media sources reported that “President Trump obtained additional oxygen on Friday at the White House, before departing for Walter Reed Hospital.”
