This spyware, known as “Android / SpyC23.A”, is delivered to target phones via rogue applications.
According to the British newspaper “Mirror”, these applications deceive users by disguising themselves as known applications to successfully penetrate the devices.
A researcher for the Slovak company, Lucas Stefanko, said that experts had discovered a fake app store that spread the malicious program.
