The Israeli army issued a statement refuting statements by the Lebanese “Hezbollah” about a facility that produces materials for making precision-guided missiles in the Jnah neighborhood.
The Israeli army also revealed the identity of the person who was shown to journalists as the owner of the site, confirming that he is a “Hezbollah” activist who had visited Iran.
Avichai Adrai, a spokesman for the Israeli army, told Arab media: “Following the inauguration of three sites for the production and development of materials used in Hezbollah’s precision guided missile project in the heart of neighborhoods and residential buildings in Beirut, today we are revealing new details about the activities on these sites. “
He added that “the sites include a metal bending machine that processes the metals that make up the engine housings, warheads, and missile control sections, plus a metal rolling machine that shapes metal into a circular shape for use in the manufacture of engine parts, warheads and missile control sections “.
He added: “These sites contain a laser cutting machine and a hydraulic and automatic machine that cuts metals at the required angles and manufactures missile balance wings, engine housings and missile warheads.”
Adraee also revealed “the identity of what he claimed to be an activist in Hezbollah who runs the site and who appeared to journalists as a civilian who was not organized in the organization, as he claimed his name was Muhammad Kamel Fuad Rammal and was responsible for a site that produced materials for precision guided missiles in the Jnah neighborhood of Beirut. “
He stated that he “works in the precision missile production unit that operates in close collaboration with Iranian forces, indicating that in the framework of his mission, he visited Iran more than once, accompanied by other activists.”
He noted that “after the site was revealed in the Choueifat neighborhood, which is located under five residential buildings, suspicious movements were monitored from the moment the site was revealed, when a commercial car arrived at the site and left after several hours, and then continue the road to another underground site located below a civil residential building in the Burj Al-Barajneh neighborhood and used by Hezbollah. “
