A few months ago “Eagle Films” announced to its owner Jamal Sinan that it was preparing to present a series called “Arrabah Beirut” (or “Sit Al-Dunya”) without giving any details about it. Months after “Eagle Films” announced its project, there has been talk of “Beirut’s godmother.” The Lebanese company revealed, in a press release it recently distributed, that it is ready to introduce “the godmother of Beirut”, but this time with the signature of two writers, Nour Shishakli and Mazen Taha. The Sinan-led company indicated that the two Syrian writers are about to complete the writing of 12 episodes of the new work without reference to Naoum, who was excluded from the work. “Eagle Films” indicated that it has hired a director to take over the project and will reveal it soon. It should be noted that the scriptwriter Maryam Naoum had previously announced that he had hired Mishish to present “The Godmother of Beirut”, indicating that the series was his idea and is a modern work and not from the seventies, as mentioned in the artistic websites. .
