The statement adds: “This rate is based on an average price of 20 liters of diesel fuel for the month of September of 15,607 LBP, after taking into account all the expenses, benefits and costs of the generators, in addition to a good margin of profit for their owners. “

This price was issued based on the accounting table approved by the Ministry of Energy since October 14, 2010, and in compliance with Cabinet Resolution No. 2 issued on 12/14/2011 on taking the necessary measures to control the prices of private generators, and based on the common application mechanism The ministries (internal energy and economy) announced on 12/20/2011 and that they determined the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy and Water in the circulation of the prices of private generators based on diesel prices at the end of each month.

He continued: “10% will be added to the approved price if the generator is located in a mountainous area or in small towns where the number of subscribers is small and the distribution networks are long.”

The Ministry of Energy and Water also announced that it “sent books to the Ministries of the Interior and Economy on the September 2020 prices to do what is required according to the joint control mechanism.”
