Atlantic magazine reported that Trump’s plan was to repeatedly and shockingly attack Biden and not let him complete a sentence, in an attempt by Trump to appear domineering and push Biden to appear weak.
So far, Trump’s focus has bled in support of older people, suburban women, and white college graduates, and these districts will likely decide to boycott the election.
Out of context
Several times the president deviated from the debate in an attempt to confuse Joe Biden and then confuse him. Trump did not hesitate to attack, using the subject of his son Hahn, which was beyond the scope of the established questions, prompting a reaction from Chris Wallace, the moderator of the debate.

Former Republican Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania expressed his anger at this wavering stance on Trump.

Throughout the debate, Trump launched attacks on Biden for spending four decades in public office and failing to reform many of the programs he now says he is running for president. “People understand that, over the course of 47 years, Joe Biden has done nothing,” Trump said.

During the economic debate, Trump reiterated: “We built the largest economy in history. We shut it down due to the epidemic in China.”
Biden responded by saying that the United States “cannot fix the economy until it fixes the Covid-19 crisis.” Biden noted that Trump had benefited from the Obama Biden administration’s excellent economic record, and Biden said, “We have achieved a prosperous economy … he has destroyed it.”
